title: went for our band's syf and they maintained a silver! Good job sia, i tink they played quite well, esp ross roy. But my phone spoilt and i didnt get to record ross roy, damn it. Ignatius solo's really nice, but we didnt get to record it, and he kept saying cos its copyright. LOL. We did get to record once though, but for tt once, he didnt play well. Bad timing! hahas. Much lesser ppl cried this time round as compared to 2years back sia. So took the bus back to sch and we were damn high in the bus la. Dinner with usual juniors, then bus-ed home.
Tried to hear their recording, but its quite unclear, cos its from hp ma. Then i played night safari and 7th night, lots of memories sia. But i cant find singapore rhapsody, feel like hearing it sia. Its like the set piece from my very first syf. Its nice sia, and american riversong, i keep forgetting we played tt for our syf too. I keep tinking its festspiel. hahas. I still rmb how hard we worked and stuff. Its been abt two years now, i realised like my passion isnt that strong anymore, my skills too, they suck now. I used to feel like playing saxophone each time i go back, and it gets lesser now, and i dont really mind if i dont get to play. My passion is half gone that kind, i still like band pieces and stuffs but it just feels different. Maybe when i used to go back last time, its more abt helping them, teaching them etc, not so much now. I sort of take note more of people's actions, instead of their playing. Its like, just listening to any band, and im just like their audience, thats all. Except my section la, i still do correct them at times, but not as much, and i dont really care if they really listen or what. And i tink its time to not go back anymore, since its just like a normal band to me now, except that i've been in that band before. |
